I mean, how is that not just battered tofu branded as something progressive? I don't get it.

You can batter up and fry pretty much anything and it all kinda tastes the same, more or less.
If this post is on the B&I forum, lighten up it's just money!

Disclaimer: I'm not that smart.

Just a note here:

I know I often am the only one posting about futures......I'm sorry that I veer off the path off commonality.....but if any of you have been struggling I'd mention that trading the futures has more of the "shares" feel to it but with "options" price movement.......

If you've been scared to try, I'd suggest paper trading and seeing how it does for you.

You take your position and set your stops based on your levels you feel are appropriate......if the trade goes in your favor you trim your position and move your stops to a level such as "break even" where you entered.....if the trade keeps going, continue to trim/trail. If you get stopped, you got stopped with profit. If the trade goes against you immediately you get stopped and you wait to see where the next entry is while you figure out why your level was inappropriate.

I used to think futures were a mad mans game, only some dude in a suit in a corner office of a high ride uses those......in reality they open you up to some price movements and liquidity that doesn't always work out on other sides of things. ALso for short term trading there are tax advantages

Ok, back to nonsense.

Good stuff and good insight. I've never considered it.

Big question though, do you only trade futures whilst wearing pyjamas cause if not, then you aren't technically a futures trader.

Should've seen some of the looks our little dachshund gave us when we sent him outside to pee in a foot of snow with a windchill of -4. I miss the little ****, but there was quite a bit of retribution pee in the house...

I plan to give it a whirl someday when I can devote time to the study of it. I love the liquidity aspect of it and really like the focusing on something.

there are a butt load of stocks that have 10x since March of 2020. Why only those two lol?
I don't know that 10x is life changing. If you had a $100k to invest initially, I don't think $1m is changing your life.
100x can life changing. $10k to $1m.

Nice little writeup there. Makes me have some hope for the Friday SPY 460c's I bought at close. They don't matter in the grand scheme, but who doesn't like a happy ending?

potential 2.5-3pt gap up at open.....
