We've discussed these a lot here. Leveraged ETFs are great as swing trades especially on accounts that don't have option clearance or that can't trade short. They are not long term options and over the long term hurt you. Anyone saying you are good long-term with them is using a time period where the trend is in their favor. We're all big boys here, but I'd agree that you should be careful with these unless you feel confident a trend has confirmed and is continuing.

No worries. If you buy it after a pullback and we run back to ATH, you've made mint. If we hit a bear market or even stagnate, you are effectively buying QQQ calls every day. Also remember if looking at this long term that a lot of these leveraged ETFs rebalance when they get too low.

I used a lot of these during 2020 and they were great. Just don't get in too deep on them.

Not yet. Watch 458.02 then 458.51...both ish

3 Min chart...but I watch 5, 10 and peek at hourly scalping and use 3 or less to exit if I am active.

A couple of the guys in the industry were saying they don't think leveraged ETFs should be legal for retail to trade, because they've seen too many folks wiped out using them. Aggiedaniel and one other. I don't agree with that at all, but I think that underscores that there's more risk there than you see upon first blush.
