As a longtime holder of both MSFT and ATVI, today is a good day.
Never ended up getting in this one but its running hard right now up ~25% this morningcptthunder said:

$SPY came close to intermediate trend line $455. That's my mark for trend reversal on markets. Until then the macro long-term trend is still upward, although most stocks have been in a severe bear decline.

I got my SPY Iron condor filled today. 449/455/464/470 expiring Friday. I got a bit over $4 for a $6 condor, so not ideal but it's a short OPEX week and max pain (460) is in the middle of it. This will be interesting to watch.

IV is all that matters the week of earnings. Sometimes too the SP stays in the middle all week and kills premium on both sides.
