is this also Dan Shapiros set up and technique? Ive watched a good portion of his masterclass and I like how straightfoward his trading style is.

Yes. My charts are setup the same as his. I'm missing one of the MAs, but can't remember which one. I've been with Dan for two years now.

LOL. Seriously though, if it's low .60s is it one of those 'close enough if the TRIN is headed down'?

It definitely trended down into the close, from .75 at 2:50 into the close at .62, which is why I ask.

ok, thanks

so, the opposite of ideal would be...
the bottom drops out of PLUG stock and it falls to like 20$ or whatever.
at expiration, (or could it be anytime prior to expiration?) you're still paying 42$/ share if/ when assigned?
is that the worst case?

Yes Dec22 for those VIX puts. If this last 6 days of volatility was more Omicron response, I think these will pay. If it was tapering, jobs miss, etc. then I still could see those puts get to $0.35 so I can go net free but I doubt we'll get back to $17 VIX anytime soon.

FYI before the open today I changed this sell order from $0.35 (to go net free) to $1 today. Probably greed and will go down as a bad choice, but I felt better about things at the open today than I did yesterday. I wasn't able to trade much today. I might make a decision tomorrow whether to let these rid a bit or go ahead and sell enough to go net free.

I followed and actually did go netfree. I have had too many trades lately go against me because I thought it would run more and end up with losers. So trying better to be more disciplined for my account size.

AMD is at the top of my watchlist for tomorrow. Seems to have bounced off the broadening formation. I can see this thing really ripping if the market stays green.

I like calls better than puts. Gonna target the 150C on a break above 145.76. These had a crap load of volume today (I like liquid chains and strikes). Below 141 I like the 140P.

hahaha, you may get your wish. AAPL flow today was insane. There was a huge buy on March 200C's even.

I'm really hoping the market rests a little today. I'd like to see it digest the run-up in the order flow. The candles on so many of the beta charts are sooooo extended. It is tradable, but for long term market health, it needs to see some volume in these levels.
