$DIS dropped down to 148.xx to put in a new low, and then reclaimed yeterdays low at 150.18......taking a small bite on Jan 150c's on a potential swing trade.
Im fully out of my $JPM calls after this last push. Being very strict on hitting targets and getting out at defined levels feels good.

In for Friday $162.5C and 12/13 $167.5C. It wants to make more gains this holiday.

If the company is doing well the stock will too. The big problem has been a lack of broad investors. The folks interested have loaded up all they wanted so there just aren't a lot of buyers until good news starting bringing in more. I think a lot of the recent price sink is folks taking losses for this year for tax purposes. Also that shelf offering voted for earlier this year is this constant looking negative pressure on the stock. If the stock price goes up they'll likely sell shares at those elevated prices. I still don't get why shares holders voted for such a large shelf. Frustrating.

I've got another week before I can buy back on without wash sale issues hurting my taxable loss. So it's being a friend and holding share price down until I can buy my shares back.
GOEV taking off today, 2 days after chariman Aquila bought 35MM shares.

Serious answer: I think this is investors taking losses for the year to offset other gains, hoping that no big announcements will come until at least Q1 2022.

i gave up on it and bought a little NVNXF instead. Fidelty charged me $50 for the transaction though....what a pissa!

POWW seems to have really strong support at just under $6, still a good entry point now if people want it with a tight stop loss at $5.80 for me
Correct me if I am wrong but I have SPY model T from the high on Monday to the low of yesterday just shy of $469 ($468.95). I think we see that today.

I get the following message when I try to open a spread now. This is a margin account solely so I can trade spreads. Am I restricted from trading spreads now until my account is back to $25,000? My understanding was the restriction was solely related to opening/closing a position on the same day, but this looks like my account is restricted from using margin at all, and I'm not sure if that's a 90 day thing, or permanent until I'm back to $25k.jwhitlock3 said:

If you're tagged as a PDT and using margin, your account MUST be over $25K. If you turn off margin, the PDT rule doesn't apply.

Gotta be a fidelity thing. I buy call spreads while in a "day trade margin call" all the time on td

But is your account over $25K? The $25K is a SEC compliance

No that's the "day trade margin call." My account is flagged as a pdt account, and my acct value fell below 25k, triggering the "margin call"
Are you really using margin to open call spreads though? Maybe I have margin turned off? Put credit spreads shouldn't need margin either if they're cash secured?
