Did we say you can do this and sell covered calls at the same time?? Apologies if I missed this

Transitory my @$$. My family is paying $60/wk more for groceries and getting less.
Wife just told me that a box of diapers just went up $5 from a month ago (~13% increase) it's not going away anytime soon

Dang it SPY. You had to go green to red overnight on my calls. Wondering if it sells off through when Powell speaks at the hearing today.
I gotta keep closer tabs on that guy. I feel like every time the press gets wind he's going to open his mouth we get a red day beforehand

Market is having issues with the 10YR UST yield jumping over 1.53% over night. Two weeks ago it was hovering around 1.30%.
In layman's terms that means if you were quoted a homeloan two weeks ago, that quoted interest rate has gone up 0.23% because of the treasury.

We had a lot of educated people on the B&I board arguing that it was transitory inflation and not real inflation that we were going to see. I still don't understand how they could think that adding so much to the money supply, and giving it both directly to consumers as stimulus checks and to investors by keeping stock values climbing, would not cause high "real" inflation. Now that it's actually been here we're still using that transitory label. I guess it was always all just political?
Looks the same to me.....Red Pear Luke said:

The same ones said our old school P/E ratios absolutely do not matter anymore. A 500 P/E ratio is absolutely ok and that us olds just do not understand the potential of these companies. Lol.Tomas Hermensa said:

This week, was looking for 4470-80 in #ES_F and pullback & for 5th time since Sept 13 it produced a sizable drop.4400 now key support to stop a trip to new lows

Plan Today: Bounce attempt here, but bulls need to recapture 4420 to open a run higher, otherwise 4365, 4330 next down https://t.co/bFoEBpJOB3
This would actually be useful on a week to week basis. Do they publish their speaking schedule each week somewhere nice and easy where we can go get it and post it here? The market isn't as sensitive to the others but Powell in particular is good for a flash crash every time he speaks.FJ43 said:

Gold taking it on the nose this morning.
I went long on MGC (micro gold) and got stopped, switched to SIL (micro silver) and caught a bottom so, so far so good.Tomas Hermensa said:McInnis 03 said:

You would think with massive inflation, uncertainty in the market, and fears about socializing rental properties that people would be running to buy gold. I guess all that money goes to NFTs and crypto these days?
