TTD - Anyone create a vertical spread or other option play off the TTD chart? Should have done well today if so.
I didn't play it today.

Mon-Wed = weekly Friday expiry.
Thu = Friday or move to next week (Friday).
Friday = lotto small plays with same day expiry. I try to go flat on these by 1EST.

PBOC to the Rescue...High Level Meeting Leads to Soaring Equities..Iron Ore 10%
Rising equities globally, and specifically Asia, are leading the mild risk on sentiment today and some selling of treasuries... US equity futures rose to their overnight high around 2.30 am... Treasuries saw their lows at 2.50 am... But as we usually do, both have reversed marginally... The catalyst overnight was the PBOC meeting... This is what we got from a colleague
"The PBOC held a height level meeting with local banks, chaired by Gov Yi Gang." A statement was released in Mandarin, so we will go with our colleagues' translation. The statement says, "the PBOC will maintain a "good cross-cyclical design" policy to keep monetary condition stable and supportive of high-quality growth. PBOC Gov Yi Gang said the bank will maintain appropriate monetary condition to enhance the structure of credit to help reduce lending rates and encourage LENDING TO TECH, green development and small businesses for the rest of the year."
We think the reversal in Hong Kong of 7% off the lows, the general rise of Asian equities , the bounce-back of 11% from Alibaba, and the soaring commodities prices, where iron ore was up 10% at one point overnight in Singapore... All can be linked back to that statement...
Now Back to the US specifically... Covid was behind the nice bounce-back in US equities yesterday... First it was the Fed moving the JH venue to virtual due to the rising cases in Wyoming... Next the full FDA approval of the Pfizer vaccine, which will lead to more vaccinations and mandates from companies and government entities to force the vaccine, and in the increasing daily vaccinations, which are now over 1 mm a day in the US... MS Investment Management still sees the Covid being tamed in the near term . Andrew Slimmon is recommending scooping up shares in Casino's, Cruise Ships Restaurants . And sees opportunity in cyclicals... We hope he is right.
Fed... Our friends at GS have raised the odds of Fed tapering...
*GOLDMAN SACHS SAYS RAISES ODDS ON US FEDERAL RESERVE TAPER ANNOUNCEMENT IN NOV TO 45% FROM 25%; LOWERS DEC CHANCES TO 35% FROM 55%
*GOLDMAN SACHS SAYS EXPECTS A $15 BLN PER MEETING PACE OF TAPERING, SPLIT BETWEEN $10 BLN IN USTS AND $5BN IN MBS
For today we expect a mild risk on approach by the markets, but liquidity is August poor... And treasuries continue to maintain a range of 1.24-1.28... But the techincial's show a wider range of 1.22 resistance and 1.3177 200 day moving average... There is very little set up for Powell's speech on Friday, so markets could still move... But for today, even with the nice uptick in Asia, it looks to be a range bound day. Corporate spreads are steady and we expect very little new issuance for the week

Yesterday, my targets in #ES_F were 4470 then 4492 and 4492 hit exact overnight. The prior 50dma tests since March saw avg ~250 point rallies off the lows-this one is half way there

The first clinical study protocol under the SPA is titled "A Phase 3, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Parallel-Group, 52-Week Study Evaluating the Safety and Efficacy of One Dose of Simufilam in Subjects with Mild-to-Moderate Alzheimer's Disease".
The second clinical study protocol under the SPA is titled "A Phase 3, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Parallel-Group, 76-Week Study Evaluating the Safety and Efficacy of Two Doses of Simufilam in Subjects with Mild-to-Moderate Alzheimer's Disease".
