Funny, but with SAVA having an explosive move up today (+10%) my 8/27 C145 is down substantially. I wished I'd covered all my shares instead of just 1 lot.

If SAVA has a repeat performance tomorrow of today's activity, you'll see a pop.

I thought SAVA would weaken around the noon hour. It fell back somewhere in the $112's. I wanted under $110.

Trying to decide if I want to buy at the close and own SAVA overnite or wait until morning.

FJ43 posted a copy of "Tic" and that person indicating a Monday close over 4444 on S&P and we're green for new longs....that's me. (See Page 4378)

I got bullish after Kaplan/FED did the backstroke last week.

Have SAVA 8/27-150Calls on another SAVA position and I'm kinda thinkin' we may get there..

Yeah, I could have had a small gain, but am trying to keep losses small. With the MA stock movements today, it was 4+% so no complaints here.

I don't remember the details (you probably know) someone put down a large Option bet last week on the 8/27-145C.

I like my chances on this one. I got a new Stetson El-Jefe riding on it.

so i attempted 6 scalps of SPY today. 3 calls, and 3 puts.

i did nicely on the calls, won profit on each one.

i lost on all 3 puts. minimal though, as i bailed quickly when it was obvious i guessed wrong to minimize my loss. basically, i was trying to anticipate rejection or pullback at some of these key levels that never really happened.

in the end i still won today trading SPY but this is another lesson of many i had recently where i need to stop guessing and follow what the trends are telling me.

I've been trying this as well and sticking to daily expiration. It's been a lesson of trying to trade those levels I see on the chart which is heavily subsidized with knowledge from this thread. I hit calls twice today for a small profit. So no loss is good for me right now.

Congrats!

Puts or calls going the opposite way are much tougher on a trend day. Much quicker scalp if you decide to take them at all.
