Yep, same here. The best I can do now is sell covered calls to whittle down my cost basis. That's going to take some time to accomplish but it'll get there.

Only in WWR on these but in the red.

My portfolio (and all my gains) are getting blown up by stocks staying at ATR +3 and RSI >80 for days at a time. It is just absurd and really makes me question my technical analysis. Like I missed something obviously on these plays.

I did a similar thing a year ago with MARA. Took a position on a bounce, went underwater and was holding the bag for a good six months.

Eventually it took off and buying it at $4-5 looked like a brilliant move.

But yeah, knowing when to cut yourself off from buying more of a losing position is key. I'm underwater on WWR, as well as SNDL and ELOX in my retirement account, but not by a lot.

For me, the takeaways have been to size appropriately, practice patience, and then have a cutoff for when a negative play should be cut loose.

ZM what a machine today....

Vaccine and lockdown stocks like ZM are ripping today. I missed getting in on those but if those are up, it might not be long before travel and entertainment stocks go down. Just something to put on the radar.

Sold my ZM calls a bit too early. Bough the 400C at 3.35 today and sold at 6.90 at a resistance level. Welp....

Should listen to myself and follow the money. Those are 8.40 now.

Don't really have time to chart this at the moment but GOOG is working on it's third green hammer in as many days. After running up $180 from 7/19 through 7/27 on news it's retraced a bit and looks poised to run again.

IMO we are holding above the right levels but if I am guessing just chop into Friday. Maybe we go up some but would be surprised for a blow out one way or the other.

So this is my best options trade ever $ wise. Have half & half contracts at 100 & 105 for 9/17 bought when they were otm last week. So many options now and curious what you'd do:

• Sell all
• Sell the 105 half
• Sell 8/20 120 or higher calls against them
• Sell 9/17 120or higher calls against them
