Market is in an interesting spot here. We keep finding support at that SPY 436 level.

At this point, I recommend watching the SPY. If it goes, it will pull down everything with it. IWM/QQQ can't have much more downside without SPX.

yes.

to profit you need to exceed the total premium of the call and the put, so you are banking on an outsized move.

Looks like it is going to lose it at the moment but man I was hopeful it would bounce here for a trade.

3 day volume has been pretty steep.

Edit: Quick rough chart. Left it off but first time it has seen -3ATR all year. Slightly below actually.

I have been wanting to get into FUTU. I am setting alerts, I hope it hits $50. It will print money once the Chinese stocks bounce back.

I did this before the last pullback on IWM and profited both ways. (mostly because I was lucky on the timing). If it dumps and the put spread pays, you can then buy back the sell side of the call spread (if you're bullish at that point) and run the naked call to profit.

This may be optimistic thinking, but WWR is probably due for at least a little boost in the near future. It's only closed below -2 ATR a few times over the past ~year. It's fighting with -2 ATR right now (3.75)

From the boring value investor desk, XRX popped on earnings today (+4.66% as of writing), so I sold some slightly ITM calls against it and lowered my cost basis by 8.3%.

If I get called away next month, my gain would still be +60.1%

IWM.. we went low and then corrected back up a little. Should be going lower again either tomorrow or the next day. Gonna be lots of this whipsaw it seems. Once I hit about 50% ROI on the $200 puts I'm going to take some profits.

I don't own a mask at the moment, but might have jury duty in a federal court later this week. Since it is federal and the building is fed, they can require a mask even in the state of Texas. Yay me. so jury duty, commie style.
