I think my problem is I'm probably too confident, not worried about the daily move.

That's why I'm asking for advice from more seasoned guys; I'm might be too risky for my own good.

So like 10% of my net worth, is that a crazy amount for one speculative play?

Not a seasoned guy, but i got my ass seasoned by goco. That is a crazy amount. There are no sure things. I probably had 5% of my net worth in goco at one point (now significantly less, not just because of stock price)

Trying out the vertical strategy since it seems to limit and define the risk better which I think might better suit me. What is your ideal target range in vertical's when you close them out?

Wow that's ballsy. I gave myself $3k of throw away money to have fun and learn, but I realized I was ignoring the elephant in the room (candlesticks and other TA) and just going off news, unusual activity and those fintwit bros. Cost me almost all that money so I'm going back to school and trying to learn the fundamentals.
