So this is the mother of all lottos - if they have good data it will be first of its kind and it's going to go absolutely nuclear. So clearly August calls come with more risk than next week's.

Sorry for the stream of consciousness, just curious if anyone has any opinions on spreads coming up. Guess this could include LEAPs too.


I'd be curious to get some thoughts on this too. I had some Jan '22 $150 LEAPs that I phased out of last week thinking we would have a cool off period. That obviously hasn't happened so I'm looking for new ways to play SAVA to take advantage of the conference at the end of the month.

Would welcome opinions from those more well versed than me.

Hope we had a room full of put holders.

If you have over $5k worth of puts an advanced move is to use a potential big gap down open to buy a cheap expiring call using $0.25 of the nice put value gain and sell half on any initial Model T.

A chart or any thoughts REI? OA recommended a while back in the 1.30's I think. I sold some today to pick up some DNN at 1.06 (since I missed CIDM below 1.10 today). With my luck tomorrow will be a bloody Friday.

Can't thank the regulars on this board enough for sharing knowledge, experience, etc...not to mention humor and good camaraderie.

one thing I've done is review charts in the evening - prep for next day
I like looking for RDR's on daily charts
my gosh - their all over the place today
big gaps.. (up or down) skew things I think, at least for me

He seems to think next week could be a tough week - talks about market weakness in relation based on a review of the greeks on option flow (something different relative to other opex weeks), been calling it for a month plus realy.

Yeah same. Was excited to find all these confident trader bros with ideas, but after just a month I'm realizing they just throw a bunch of stuff out there and hope one sticks. Some are better than others.

I may use them for confirmation of my own trades if necessary but take them all with a grain of salt.

Yes, I follow Cem and interact with him some. Really really smart trader. He's into second order moves like vanna and charm, too high brow for me. Guy is really good at understanding the market but it doesn't mean he's perfect!

Futures flipped to green. I still say the equity break is the warning shot for a larger correction.

Will let calls get some returns and look to $334 flash to re-enter full put position.

SPY is now over MT from ATH & yesterday's low. But not by much and close to yesterday's high. It lost it before.
Qs green but also below yesterday's high.
VIX in the 17s which is good for some rally.

I don't plan on getting sucked into either direction today since I want to have a great weekend. Last weekend was looooong having a rough end to the week.

Will be expecting volatility today and if guessing a late day rally.

Last but not least.....

Today is LOTTO Friday! Play small - Have fun - Don't bet the farm - They don't all work out - Hero or zero.

APPL lotto from yesterday could be a rinse & repeat.

I would watch for a dip V at open as possible entry. If that happens and reclaims prior close of 143.24 I think sees 144+

Just my 2 cents anyway. I think all good here.

Held the 50EMA at support yesterday despite macros.
It is in sort of a double cup/handle over a long period with a shorter range one as well.
Red are long term trend lines so its right at it. When it break this it could go.
Could also consolidate here for a bit in tight range.

My lotto Friday play is cheap AMZN put spreads. We are way above max pain close (<3600) and I see this easily dipping to or below yesterday's lows if the market is weak.

This guy usually has good lottos.

I have overlap on PTON and AAPL so I key on multiple overlaps to my own setups. However I may choose different strike and trigger.
