For dividends to apply, do I need to be holding at the end of the ex-dividend date or before hand? Trying to figure out if I can sell something today or need to wait til tomorrow

Fellow Astronaut here.

I am lost for what to do. My Iron condors on QQQ are at the short call strikes.

Trying to decide if I should roll out to August with same strike or just let it roll. Already closed out the put side.

You have to hold through the Ex-Effective Date to collect the dividend. The Ex-Effective Date is typically 1 day BEFORE the Date of Record. You can sell on the Date of Record and still collect the dividend.

I rebought my ASAN puts today when it was up 4%. This time I went with Aug $60 and for cheaper than those $57.5 I previously bought.

Now it's up 5%. You're going the wrong way!

Good signs to me for stability and keeping this bull run in tact. QQQ showing some real strength today in my opinion.

Yep on the Daily. Seems like its wanting to back test the 5EMA around 430. It is at east below +2 ATR for now.

Qs yes as well but pretty extended. The entire daily candle is above +3 ATR

Qs showing strength but if technicals mean anything I would think there should be some retracement. Not saying some huge pullback but consolidation or something. 355 seems logical which is +2ATR and close to 8EMA tough.
