If you and 30k and FJ all go bull at the same time, I think that will be telling. Just let me know when to dump every single penny I own plus margin into an inverse ETF. My heart is full.

How many of you chart using a logarithmic scale? Have you found S/R levels and trendlines using a log scale to be more accurate than the standard linear chart?

A quick glance at volume on the weekly S&P shows that this week was the 5th lowest volume week since August. Kinda typical of holiday weeks. I think we see some early green Tuesday then a pullback as volume returns. Had I been at the computer Friday afternoon I'd have bought Puts on probably a couple of things. Not ready to think through the next couple of weeks yet. I'll do that tomorrow or Monday.

I meant to type bear, not bull. I ruined my own joke. Serves me right for posting on the internet before coffee.

Quote:
To date, Palantir has participated in at least eight SPAC-related PIPE transactions, investing well over $100 million, using the deals as a way to win business from emerging companies that can benefit from Palantir's big data analytics software. In effect, Palantir is providing capital up front in return for a multiyear commitments to use the company's software.
Shyam Sankar, Palantir's chief operating officer, says there's a historic perception that Palantir's software is only suitable for very large companies and government agencies. "We don't think that to be true," he says. "With SPACs, we see a historic opportunity to invest in our customers."
My hunch is in the next couple of weeks we'll see it touch the 50 which is right at 4200. That's only 3.65% from here so really not much of a pull back. Regardless of target though we're on the same page. Nothing really makes a lot of sense right now. In the back of my mind I'm wondering if we're caught in an odd multi-week cycle (3 weeks to be specific) made up of quad witching which I think I'll prove soon is never green (doing that research now) but always followed by green then a holiday week which generally speaking is reliably green. If that hunch is correct then my next hunch is we'll get a pullback of some size soon, like week ending 7/9 or 7/16. Or both.FJ43 said:LOYAL AG said:8 and 21 ema.FJ43 said:LOYAL AG said:

Me as well, though I do toggle between semi-log and Cartesian plots. I'd be willing to bet that most folks regularly reviewing decay or exponential declines are more likely to use logarithmic.
Yes
