Yeah, I'm in the same boat with you. My dividend stocks I don't want to sell, my MA's are fine, have a bond position I am thinking about exiting, but I have been holding it for 6 years and treated me well. Next week, I need a nice run up (nothing big) to sell Calls for 30 to 90 days out on some positions I want to keep and go from there. Those Calls I may ladder like a bank CD play and go longer than 90 days. Homework for the weekend. Have plenty of powder for a pullback.

No that was the point of my concept. I did not YOLO or all on black or red to inflate. My goal is a system that can be used for income generation/cash flow. This isn't a wealth building thing IMO....except I did roll profits in to ELOX and a few MAs then moved the shares into that account. Trade sizes were from 4%-10% of account value with the most being an AMZN at about $1700 or so.
5-10% of an account isn't normal and would never do that in my main account on an options scalp. I manage them closely to levels. The 5-10% I guess you could say is never 100% at risk.
I did take a few in the backside for letting something on waaaay too long in 'hope'.

What some of you do on identifying real value long term plays for wealth building is the rocket science. I just look at pretty pictures and lines on screens.

Not sure if anyone entered it but I bought the July 55C when triggered close to end of day.
Its +2 ATR and has run the +3 in the past so really hoping for continuation.
Had crosses of the 8 on the 50EMA today and it also closed above the 100 & 200 EMAs for 1st time in a long while
Matching goal post in 2/2020 and 7/2020, But these 3 bars had me. Too much volume to ignore for me.
Hope it has some energy left.

So here's what is now in place. I juiced my July 30 $395 puts with Monday $415's when I tweeted that the move up off bottom last hour was clear level 1 short covering that actioned some losers thinking they were bottom buying.
After hours when we came under $413.75 I started buying shares against 50% of the $415 puts and barely executed my initial buy when it bounced to $413.85 so I quickly finished the order and now those are in the most excellent rocking chair position.
That late surge upward was the greatest gift cause I would bet money on days like today we end up back at or below lows. I did bet money.
