I'm sitting on 2000 contracts averaged in at .10.
I agree with you, but that doesn't mean it crashes, either.FJ43 said:

Have y'all looked at the houses first time home buyers are getting?
They are 50-70% larger than houses were 20-30 years ago, with "standard features" that were the top end upgrades from 20 years ago. Cars are getting so expensive it's getting out of control and yet they are in so much demand you can't get one. I read an article the other day saying 5that nationally the average college graduate "expects" to earn $85k straight out of college and over $200k within 5 years.
The problem is that companies can't afford to pay that without drastically increasing prices.
I know so many people who live paycheck to paycheck
I don't think crash. I think we see more downside first though.$30,000 Millionaire said:I agree with you, but that doesn't mean it crashes, either.FJ43 said:

Yes, please post these. This is mostly what I've been doing this month and will continue until the market decides which direction it wants to go. TSLA and SPY have been my most frequent plays. I've lost more times than I've won with TSLA but losers are kept small and some winners are quite large. I've been setting 25% stop limits and moving up the limit as the price goes up. Rarely hold a contract overnight.FJ43 said:
Lotto Plays
I may start posting a lotto play periodically. I have been doing them with good success when I managed them effectively. Not so much when I broke the 'rules'.
I know some folks on here play quick options scalps or lotto plays but not everyone is familiar with them, so just wanted to post a few important items in case someone takes the trade.
- They are for fun...and hopefully a few extra bucks.
- These are lotto so think scratch off where you may 'win' or not'.
- These will be weekly options plays with Friday expirations and in many cases the same day on an expiration Friday.
- Straight calls or puts.
- My opinion is to size small.
- They can decay quick especially on same day.
- If buying more than one contract I scale out in the event it moves in my direction and leave 1 runner with a stop at breakeven.
- If the trade breaks down technically (not same day entry) I will cut the trade.
- Manage the trade to your own risk/reward levels.
- Please don't blindly follow but at least pull up the chart.
- My opinion is to not be greedy. You might just pay for dinner that weekend.
- They can be quick and fun but have to leave the emotions in the can.
I have a blast with them and probably because I play small on them. If managed correctly it doesn't take many to have a winning ratio.
That's the one. Thanks!$30,000 Millionaire said:

This Zack play does make sense. It has options. I think I'm planning to use calls instead of stock. If Zack finally pushes it to rocket I'll exit the calls and immediately buy outs for potentially the same strike.
Sorry, you and your wife got caught up in a whirlwind of inflation, especially materials. I foresee a dramatic decrease of economic activity and recession if they pass this anti-business agenda. There should be a glut of homes to buy, but you're already committed. I hope I'm wrong in my assestment.Rice and Fries said:We actually sold our bag of crap old house for a nice premium and are building a new one. If anyone ever considered TTD in the past, it's real close to buy now or miss out. This is NOT FOR A TRADE, buy some and forget about it. This has the potential to be a wealth changer over the next 3-7 years, IMO.
TTD is an industry leader in their field. Their platform does internet, mobile and most importantly streaming, which is where everything is going. Institutions own 68% of the stock and it's one of their favorites. Cathie Wood is positioning herself in the stock. I know she being pounded by the street, but she is very talented.AG 2000' said:Can you unpack this a bit more?Prognightmare said:

Competitors in the space, market potential, etc.
People that have sold it last week for a loss, will be able to buy it back before it splits 10:1 on 6/17 and still keep their tax write off. They currently have only 47 MM share float, which will only be 470 MM float post split. For perspective, AAPL has 16 B shares outstanding, so there's plenty of room to grow.Quote:
Cathie Wood-led Ark Investment Management is betting ad-tech company Trade Desk Inc (NASDAQ: TTD) will benefit from the shift in advertising from linear television to streaming.
What Happened: The California-based company's shares are down 21.8% since the company reported a first-quarter earnings beat a week ago.
The slump came as the company, which specializes in helping companies buy online ads, didn't provide earnings guidance for the next quarter due to uncertainty over Apple Inc's (NASDAQ: AAPL) new opt-in advertising rules. It also announced a ten-for-one stock split with shares to start trading on a split-adjusted basis on June 17.
Apple recently started rolling out a rule that it introduced last year, requiring app developers to use a pop-up notification asking permission to gather data that can be used to track users across third-party sites and apps.

The New York-based investment firm Ark, which has been buying shares in The Trade Desk, a rival to Alphabet Inc-owned (NASDAQ: GOOGL) Google, is however optimistic despite the stock's recent battering.
"The Trade Desk is an ad-tech company that facilitates audience targeting across different media formats and should continue to benefit from the shift in advertising from linear TV to streaming," the Cathie Wood-led firm said in a note.
The Ark Next Generation Internet ETF (NYSE: ARKW) holds 215,413 shares in TTD, worth about $106.3 million.
The Trade Desk is the seventeenth-largest holding of ARKW. No other Ark ETF holds shares of the ad-tech firm
Price Action: TTD shares closed 4.86% higher at $517.49 on Friday. Shares have fallen 35.5% on a YTD basis.
