Congrats and good job. Glad you're enjoying it.ClutchCityAg said:
Hoping we get one more burst of volume to fill the gap, then I will close out my remaining net free SPY calls from scalping. After that, grab a few of the hedges OA mentioned and then wait and see with cash on hand.
In my non-retirement account I have gone 80% cash and been doing exclusively SPY scalps like FJ has been doing. I am up pretty good since starting this.

I believe on twitter he indicated that he was adding "a few" 6/14 380 Puts for SPY yesterday around 412, and that he would add heavier on the gap fill at 416.XX (think it was around 416.60-416.80).FJ43 said:Congrats and good job. Glad you're enjoying it.ClutchCityAg said:

Did OA mention any specific hedges? I missed it if so other than full hedge message.

If that was for me I have an hourly resistance level I have traded against at 416.32 a number of times now. Has been an entry or exit for me where momentum stopped or confirmation upward. Seems we are there again.Farmer @ Johnsongrass, TX said:
The bottom of the SPY gap (starting point of gap down) was $417.81 from May 10th - must reach to fully close. What is the significance of $416.23?...a flash up from there? Sorry, not following.

Slipped in a few Jun 14 $SPY puts here. Regardless of $412.70 full Model T of $423 top and yesterday low or gap fill to $416.60 area I think we "woosh".

Be thinking entry here with secondary target entry if we fill that gap. That secondary entry becomes first sells on any initial drop under $408 and reduces remaining hedge position cost significantly.

you guys do what you want, but if the SPX closes up here, that's a reversal. I don't think it's high probability to short here. if you want to hedge, by all means do it, but we're not hanging out at +2 ATR either.

My bud holds 17,000 MOS. He's bullish and bullish long term. He is looking at a double to a quadruple. The price fixing lawsuit is in MOS favor and can price their phos to the countervale duty - a 5 year US court protection and assures profitability. Meaning importers trying to compete are going to have a tough time trying to bring product into the US, because MOS just needs to price at that landed port number to keep competition out. Phos industry usually has one time a year to set their price that will drive the year. That time is over for 2021, but next 4 years look pretty favorable. Commodities (corn & beans) accelerating in price and staying there will settle the farmer's angst on paying more for fert, so demand will stay and wont cut back on use. And, it's likely that we are in a commodity super-cycle - maybe next 3 years. I own Zero, but will likely start a position. From a PE ratio they cheap.$30,000 Millionaire said:

Have you heard about IPI (Intrepid Potash). Seems to be in the same space from my research and wondering if they would benefit from the same lawsuit or if it is case specific to MSO?Farmer @ Johnsongrass, TX said:My bud holds 17,000 MOS. Same for bullish sentiment for BG and from a PE ratio they should be $200/share. Owns right at 10,000. BG getting help from renewables as soyoil is in demand and will likely be for a long time. Not many new players enter the crushing industry, but their is talk folks are looking to build plants around the country. Either build your crush plant on top of the soybean pile, or build a destination plant at the demand center (soyoil/renewable users) and ship your beans to the crush facility....age old question.
My bud owns 2 positions, MOS and BG.
Hope this helps.
