wwr hit the 200 Day sma at 3.47. I sold my 5/21 5 puts this morning and am looking to buy more. I am betting that level gets retested. I hope the 3.47 level holds. edit: not sure if 3.47 gets retested since that was the opening price and it left there in a hurry. No other sellers down there today.

Do we close above today's high on SPY?

I've been paper trading to scratch the itch while I patiently wait to invest my cash on a larger correction.

Something I have noticed is how much easier it is to manage a position when it is a larger position. For example take DNN:

Real account I have 500 shares, so I have been trying to sell CCs on 40% to chip away at my cost basis.

Paper account I have 20,000 shares and sold CCs on 50%, but I am routinely closing and opening the CCs on about 10-20% to scalp away a little premium each time. I also am able to layer the CCs at different strikes and expirations which is really nice.

Just helps out into perspective that although I am using a good technique that works on a large scale, it won't directly translate for my smaller account.

Curious if y'all have noticed the same.

I trade what is in front of me, but the fact that the bulls reclaimed the 100 and 150 and appear to be closing damn near at or over the 50 is not good for the bears. Gaps are closed and retraced and reclaimed the initial breakout from 3/31. The only thing I would be short overnight is hedges. Not trades right now.

If I had any money to play with, I would have dropped quite a bit down on some AMD calls at 75. Good to know the plays I don't make would have been profitable (unless I had actually made the trade)

Just read through their earnings conference call from this morning.

Financially healthy but due to chip shortages, they won't make their targeted initial shipment until later next year (was targeted for Q1 2022).

BUmmer.

Alright boys, what color is the giant volume candle at 2:59 gonna be? My heart says green so we can fill that gap but my head says red.

The monthly chart looks ripe for reverting to the Monthly 20 sma. The gap between the 20 sma and current price is the largest it's been and would be a big move.
