This all makes my head hurt.

I still don't understand why apple didn't present a good entry point yesterday (around 2:30) for a short term (30-60 DTE Calls) trade.

The bollinger bands had closed and it was sitting at the 8-day, 21-day EMAs.

I am not sure how you get "confirmation of reversal" in order to enter.

EMA's are the best for getting a quick signal on direction; however, they are prone to give a false signal too. Great for quick intra-day daily direction.

SMA's are slow to develop in providing direction. You may miss directional move beginning (early bird gets the worm) with SMA's, but you'll be a somewhat fast-follower.

My opinion..

yes, but I have June 2C covered calls. my basis is $1.50, so I can tolerate getting assigned. Just waiting on it.
I just sold the May 2C on half my ownings and May 2.5C on other half...cost base also around $1.50 so happy to be called out

As far as I know, it's not possible ... and I've REALLY researched it because I'd love to have that feature in ATP.

Don't know the reason.

Maybe the FDA wanted to make a comment about raising interest rates and the NYSE shut it down during the announcement..

I actually asked a customer service rep one time and there is no way to do it in ATP.

Just went to Wall Street Journal to check for FDA news. They're running a special for $4/month for 12 months. WSJ in my opinion has been far and away the best news source over the last year or two.
