Only real downside is tying up $500 per contract for 7 months.

what does Apple normally do post earnings? That's how to plan a trade.

I'd be more inclined to do put credit spreads on an apple earnings trade.

Could also buy a Nov 2.5c and sell the $5p, costing you ~$.35. Or even buy the Nov 5c and sell the $5p for a ~.50 credit.

If WWR makes any sort of climb up by that point you can cash in on both sides.
