As long as we stay over 4170 the uptrend will continue. If we don,t we might test a lower pullback than what we had last week before resuming the uptrend.

So a buddy in the metals trading pit tells me China is paying Chilean workers to strike in the copper mines. His speculation.

Between Chile and Peru, most of the output is sold to China, and then you have China as the #3 producer.

Copper is on a rocket right now, and I wouldn't be surprised to see 5 bucks shortly.

Shortage of material
Strikes
China

What could go wrong? Oh yeah, this will be used to pump more money into the terrible "Infrastructure" bill that is more Leftist wet dream stuff than actual infrastructure.

I nearly sold my May calls on TIGR and FCEL this morning at like 8:45 but held off because it's a long way off still. But while both were up 20-25% this morning, they are both red now. I haven't played a lot of naked calls before so I don't know whether I should have sold in that scenario or if waiting was prudent. Guess it depends on whether those stocks go back up significantly or not lol

3+ weeks and consolidation today. Doesn't take much to move them. Both are over 100% IV so the options move with price quicker.

Yes I believe so. As FJ mentioned they are both high IV so the swings are to be expected.
My main question is trying to establish when to pull the trigger (what are reasonable expectations for profits in naked options ). I am starting out small so only buying like $350-500 in options at a time to learn.

Google probably blows out earnings. I think this is a good condor candidate.

Microsoft is getting a run up, not playing but I would do puts.

Pinterest - expected move condor.

you need to have a profit target going into the setup (or a price target for the stock to reach).
