Ask yourself this - do investment capital gains primarily influence individuals or asset prices? Would you stop investing if capital gains were higher or just be ticked off about it?

TBD - you sell when your setup tells you it's no longer valid. so if you're trading 1 minutes, close below high of low bar.

FJ and 30k are the ones I'd pose that question to, I don't have a clue what I'm doing. I'm just watching and grabbing things around support levels, 20% gain would be just fine for me on something like this.

On scalps, true scalps, I don't as much pay attention to % return as I do technical support/resistance. When it is supported or rejected are my actionable entry/exits. Getting 10%+ on a true scalp is just fine. I've also had 3x and 4x trades because they ran.

Key I think anyway, is you have to honor stops at tech levels.
