I paper traded /ES overnight for a loss. It shouldn't have pissed me off as much as it did because it w as paper and my stop loss ended the trade, but I hate losing.......... so there is that.$30,000 Millionaire said:

I'm not a technical expert on this, but my understanding is it is low cost, portable and easily deployable in emerging markets.
I can't wrap my head around an imaging machine that costs 10K. We are going to find out soon if it catches fire.

Warning long post on Zest:
Don't have much of a ZEST update but I was in Little Rock Monday until yesterday to sit through the trial we were told it would be open but that we would have to step out for certain parts. We weren't allowed in at all but we were able to see somewhat what's going on.
Peter Mehring the creator of Zest and also negotiated the deal with Walmart was on the stand for 3 1/2 days. The trial is supposed to be wrapped up by the end of next week but with him taking so long I bet it's early the following week if an announcement doesn't come beforehand that it's settled before a verdict is reached. Each side had 6 or 7 lawyers plus advisors etc. Greg Foran's deposition was played for the jury yesterday afternoon. Greg Foran was credited with Walmart's turnaround after becoming CEO and resigned 1 week after giving his deposition on the Zest case.
Next up is supposed to be the Walmart employee Josh Bohling who filed the patent for what is a replication of Zest. Things should be getting interesting right now. Court is open and still going on today.
I was able to read 95 pages of pretrial documents that can only be read at the courthouse. One of the takeaways was the Zest lawyers telling the judge that Bohling's testimony would be "stunning" for the jury to see how this was replicated.
Will update if I find out more.
I still consider commodity futures as being beyond my skill level and I largely don't dabble in index futures beyond occasionally shorting VIX. Also a downside to Fidelity and why I need to bite the bullet and either go TOS or IKBR. I would like to learn to trade crude.McInnis 03 said:I paper traded /ES overnight for a loss. So what is yall's play with ZEST right now? Still taking a wait and see?
When I opened my office in 1983 (single practice orthopedic surgeon, then) I took out a lone of approximately 100K to have an in-house xray- that included the machine, table, and the lead-lined walls- that hurt!. This unit will be great for individual offices (probably not hospitals)- Very many do not have there own xray capabilities.drred4 said:
A $20k-30k x-ray unit is cheap. Some of our more Basic rooms are 125k plus. Looks like they have a CT or that is their x-ray device. The current x-ray tubes on CT can go over 100k by themselves. Gonna to research this a bit more me thinks.
Model T - When you have a rise up then pivot you use the lowest point prior to rise and the highest point at the pivot to determine the bottom and tops. This can be applied on 1 min all the way to daily or even weekly/monthly charting. Easiest thing to apply. Fib tool gets you basically the same.DallasAg2 said:
ETH - I think it goes past $2100. Nice charts
- How do you know that it the top of the model T?
- Is it worth trading if it just goes down $30? I think the commissions are too high to trade it without $100 swings.
Yep but new to it. I'll have to play with it more but its pretty easy and quick to use. I am sure it does a ton such as the MT tool you mention. Have no clue where that is at yet or what it is called.Ukraine Gas Expert said:

I like it. It has some good tools and charting stuff. Lots of community built programs too. I found one that builds a "model T" for you basically. It's pretty simple, but finds low and high for the time frame, then plots both and the middle.
Good stuff and keep em coming.

I did the trial, but did not renew. He has some good stuff, but I just don't have the time. Also, I find that if I look at too many sources, I get confused trying to process the different approaches.CrazyRichAggie said:
McGinnis, how you like the Redler all access? I'm thinking about giving it a go.
