Question on cc's and getting called out. If that usually happens on the exp date, does it only matter if the price passes the strike on that day? If you have a 25 strike and the price hits 26 mid week but drops to 24 on expiry, what happens. Nothing? Hopefully that makes sense.

Think about it this way. If you own the 25 call option and have the right to buy the stock at $25, but it is trading at $24, which one would would you prefer to buy? The $24
Same situation, you own the 25$ call, and you decide to sell out shares when it hits 26$, Knowing that you have the option to exercise them at $25 to cover. But before the end of the day, the stock traded below 25$ down to $24, you would buy the $24 stock and let the option expire worthless
Yes, but only because of the $1 difference in your scenario. If mid week it was at $50 on a $25C, you will most likely be called out unless someone is stupid greedy.

What a Friday.
Basically broke even on the day. Picked up discounted shares of WWR in the process though.

My two trades for today other than buying back some CCs were buying those UBER $37C back at $0.78 before selling half to go net free and buying a bunch of WWR at $4.18.
Somehow ended up with a big green day, though it was quite the ass kicking of a week.

Ugly week for me. Down 15% on the week.
Still up 30% YTD. I learned a lot this week...unfortunately at a tremendous cost. CCs made the damage a little less painful.
Also with oil back up in the $60s, this real job is now officially getting in the way of my trading.

Well ladies and gentlemen....SPY
We closed just barely above the Model T from the SPY high to yesterday's low. Positive sign at least. Solid volume today and lots of buying for 2/3 of the day today. Getting to several levels today was big. Not out of the woods at all IMO but encouraging. Need to see us grab the 21 EMA.
Couple extra notes:
Close was back in the long term channel
Grabbed the 50 day and 8 day again.
Reclaimed -1 ATR and bounced the ATR
Not too shabby....

Well what started out looking like it was going to be a terrible, horrible, no good week (this morning I was down 15% at one point), ended up not being bad.
Actually closed up on the week by 1.5% - little victories!
