What's your goal? If it's to hold it long term the timing isn't as important. If it's a short term swing I'd wait a few days. My guess is short term we see a pull back of a couple of dollars. Medium to long term I think we see it reach $50 in a couple of weeks and have a nice run up to $60 or more. Yesterday was good for FUBO but nothing has done well in the immediate wake of earnings this year. I'm long at $46.82 with a cc at $47 for Friday. I'll do another one next week and the week after til it sells. I'll be surprised if I have it at the end of March.

My 12.5 covered calls on UWMC seemed pretty safe when it was in the 7s

I never got any replies on here about that wash rule question, but I finally figured it out last night.

I had been averaging down on CLOV and when I sold the other day, the accounting is FIFO and because I had purchased shares at a lower price a week or so later (I averaged down several times and still sitting at 13.75 avg cost now), that triggered the wash rule even though I didnt buy shares after I sold. Because the decreasing price purchases were within 30 days of each other, that triggered it. But it just took the loss I took and added it to the cost of the next batch of shares so eventually I will capture that, hopefully as a reduction in capital gains when CLOV eventually decides to wake up and go back into the mid teens or higher.

I was unaware that the wash rule was applied to cost averaging strategies if the sale was after all of the purchases but it apparently does apply there for those that didnt know that.

As of 2/18 XL had about 3 million warrants outstanding, 3/1 was the last day to exercise those warrants. Appears those warrants were at a price of $11.50, and probably drove the price down at the end of Feb.

I believe that downward pressure is gone and now we're free to return to that ~$20 level, bringing XL back in line with the broader EV market

To the poster that created the Stock Basis Tracker Google sheet - I think it should be updated to account for the money spent in the "Buy Back" column for the calls and puts. Is this correct, or am I missing something?

Edit: the sheet is great, I'm just trying to adapt it to have a little more functionality when you buy back sold puts and covered calls.

When I buy back covered calls or sold puts I subtract out the price and insert a note in the cell that describes the actions. You can see an example of that in the sheet. It's not perfect but it works for me.

I also made a clunky way to track any calls you buy. Just type in Buy in column Q and then enter everything else. (The sheet really isn't made for this, but it can work. I have another sheet were I track any options I buy)

Riding it out as well. BUUUUTTT...I did buy a $40p about an hour ago. My earnings plays have been bad on good news so far this season so I'm thinking at least some of this gap up gets reclaimed by tomorrow morning before it runs a bit post earnings. My hope is to catch a quick $1 between now and 0900 tomorrow then it runs up over a couple of weeks. Good luck...
