Anyone have any thoughts on AAPL LEAPS?
March 2023 100c for $38.
I don't have a whole lot of experience with LEAPS.

If you've got the patience to wait 2 years, why not just buy the stock?
You could buy and sell dips a dozen times between now and then.
On a stock like SNDL - I get it. But not on Fruit.
But then again, I started buying AAPL at 140, and bought all the way down to 130 where I ran out of cash. So what the F do I know.

Wielding Apple at $38 sounds nicer than $120.
Those leaps have $17 extrinsic, you can pay that off easily by selling way otm calls against the leap.

That's a great strategy that I hadn't thought about. Is that common with leaps?
a 60k move is selling the stock short on rips and pocket 100% of the premium for every $1 pull back versus delta x $1.Bob Knights Liver said:

You buy ATM or ITM leaps and on rips sell 1/2 to 1/3 the number of OTM calls with a shorter term to eat premium. If the stock jumps earlier than expected you still profit, if not you lower your net on the leaps.
This is a 30k move.
Now that is perfectly logical. Fruit it isDubFalls said:
A whole bunch of people had calls on AAPL that did not pay out. It seemed like anytime someone mentioned the price, AAPL dropped. So, people started calling it fruit instead to keep from jinxing it.
Apparently someone screwed up and called it Apple because otherwise it would have gone up.
