If I extrapolate out I actually get close to $2.40 on these. That sounds like a formula for selling 75% at $2 for a 100%+ gain and then $2.30 area for rest.

Hedging may be one of the most important tools next to entry, exit and position sizing IMO.

It was nice to close some of my covered calls yesterday for a nice profit on some of my stocks that had fallen.

Also rolled some of my spy puts today since they were up decently higher than they had been in the week's past.

These last few days important to remember that nothing Fundamental has changed in big plays like $WWR. Mine is still on track, no news, EVs / Graphite demand isn't dead. Just caught up in market swings.

Great times to eat premium and just enjoy the ride.

glad you made the shift to SPX.

FWIW, I often use tick charts when trading futures contracts to help tell me whether volume is professional/institutional or retail. With tick charts you can see volume bars by a set number of trades - which is accomplished by defining the bar interval by number of trades rather time.
Tick charts should not be confused with a Tic index on an exchange/index - which shows upticks vs down-ticks over an interval.

Be careful, with the 10 yr treasury at a 52 wk high, home purchases and re-fi's will begin to drop, impacting their future qtrs.
