Wow, I couldn't resist joining in the AMC fun. I bought it pre-market at my house and sold it when I got to my work parking garage for 55% profit. This market is nuts.
should get a big rip and volume at market open. Same happened on GME and to some extent AMC yesterday. It's amazing how many people are throwing money at this without premarket trading set up.BobaFettsClone said:Less than 20 minutes to open and it's already over $24PearlJammin said:It will be over $25 before the market officially opens.Aggies75455 said:

Any idea what these leaps open at?
yeah thats why i dont intend to ever play anything significant. I actually only bought like $1000 worth of BB and AMC a yesterday morning and ended up exiting BB with a tiny win thinking it wouldnt fly. Held AMC on a whim. may may a little money today. But these things arent solid plays, just like gambling, so i would never play big with them.CastleRock said:ag94whoop said:
now the next obvious question for those that only took tiny positions on these wild rides is...what's the next GME/AMC?
This is the recipe for potential disaster
Make $500-$1,000 on reddit meme
Put 10k into the next "guaranteed short squeeze" and lose $5,000

My Mark on the $2.5 '23 vintage shows $19.7. For some reason it's been updating but others have not. Must be a volume thing
Got that part, but confused on the actual execution. I've only ever bought puts (never actually shorted a stock)leoj said:wanderer said:
I can say I currently understand most strategies, but OA's strategy of buying calls and then shorting against them is something I haven't been able to wrap my head around.
