Do you have hedges in place? Macro's aren't down that much but could get ugly. Covered calls, trim and hedge. The longer we don't rebound the higher the odds move up to fail.

I have orders in to buy at 4.85 and 4.75 that I set awhile ago and just not watching it for now. OA advised patience so for me that means set it and forget it.

Newbie question. I jumped in some ASAN 2/19 $30C for $1.80, these are ITM and I just went net free. My question is how do you all come up with target exit prices on options? How do I estimate how much premium remains?

ZM price action is consolidating around the 340-345 level.

I think this will be a big play in the spring. Someone wants another leg on this thing.

It may hang here at the 50% retracement point. Volume did come in and bring it up off the bottom. If markets dump then all bets are off.

Depends on how many you have.

If I have a handful net free, I'll put sell order in at 25%, 40%, and 75% for a quarter of my holdings, and then just let the last quarter ride and see if there's lightning to be caught.

Congrats! For me, I usually set a minimum % gain as a floor for free stuff, lock that in and let it ride. Just a big round number. On the high side, exiting is tough, but don't let fear of missing upside keep you from taking down the cash. Things can change in a flash.

Since you're ITM now, your time decay (theta) will be less of a problem but is main thing working against you, although you have plenty of time until 2/19.

Nothing wrong with taking profits! Just don't get greedy and not set a minimum stop (ask me how I learned that )
