Unfortunately these OTCs are so hard to read. I really don't. They sit around accumulating forever and then the moment you sell, they pop off lol. Based on my DD and their numbers I really do think they should be valued at about 200-300% more than where they are currently. Same goes for ZHUD but ZHUD is chinese so there's a bit more risk there. MSNVF is Canadian and has been audited so I feel better about their books showing $80mm in revenues compared to a $28mm MC. Just a bit of where I'm coming from on those 2 companies. I have hopes, but not high high hopes for either. Just sitting on them waiting for them to pop.

I called TDAmeritrade and they confirmed that the deadline for 2020 tax loss realization is the trade date (by Dec 31) and not the settlement date (which would have to be a sale today). We have tomorrow and Thursday to sell, if desired.

ive long thought these Twitter traders get together to make a market and are cashing out as their followers are buying long calls. Tease a ticker and strike out a couple weeks and then several days before ratchet up the confidence then bail.

Amen. It's one of the many reasons I don't do pennies and/or low volume.

BOXL seems range bound 1.30-2.10.

QD has an annual meeting tomorrow, the company has been buying back their shares on the cheap. They are definitely undervalued right now, literally anyone who buys or sells right now would be doing it at their current all time low right b4 a potential catalyst event.

I think Hidden Pivots and Simpler Trading are legit. I don't think Atlas has good intentions. There could be a strategy here to fade their picks, though. Let them heat up for a couple of hours and then take the opposite trade.

After watching them for about half a year my belief is they ape off Ripsters DD and pile in. That and front run any stock that has an Rvol over 2 in a day on the low float side.

I don't fault Ripster as much here as he plays just about every name and has some TA behind his plays.

I'm not sure how to get them specifically. It's a matter of the period that his charting software is using but that never seems clear to me.

I'll dig a little more and see if I can find out. Would be very useful.

There has been discussion how a stock moves due to the number of followers after some of these guys on Twitter post an alert or buy signal only for it not to have continuation. Are they just scalping profits or a few points from their followers?

Ripster is one of the very few I follow and think he's solid however there are those that post and scalp some degree of profits as a result of the spike. Ripster provides tips, trading strategies, lessons, best practices, etc. He also has a free scanner you can follow and make your own decisions. He provides more transparency IMO.

Got it, thanks. I follow him and think he's legit as well. It also seems like human nature to see profit takers and a leveling off of a stock after a green volume burst like that, so the lack of continuation isn't necessarily surprising to me in an example like this.

Agree 110%. I do like Zack's longer buy and holds though. I'm glad you pointed that out, I'm sure the atlas boys are benefiting big time from calling out "plays". I made good money on ACST, but honestly the just did the pump and dump on it.

fwiw, I have Hidden Pivots sub now, but I don't always find it beneficial (I mostly stick with my own dd now and of course OA's). HP is a wiz at charting though.

Thought about buying the MBIO back as well Brew. Almost did today but then got to thinking may not have to and keep all the premium. Don't want to lose the shares though. It's not my normal but have sold and bought back calls multiple times on several plays keeping 50% plus of the premium each time. Then resell on the next pop. Guess if the stars along will keep doing it

WWR is another good example of that. But most are now sold at the Feb 12.50s and geez don't think those shares are at risk. If I get called out so be it.
