Ok good, I'm not mental then. I think you, me and FJ need to have a video conference sometime because you 2 are very aligned with my style.
Would love to do that sometime. Would be fun the hear approaches and strategize on new things.
all in on that!

In case this is helpful to anyone, here is some of what I am managing in my swing/trade account. This is way too many things and I am going to cut it down in January. CWH and OSTK are long term buys.

  • ABIO shares + Jan 5C offset
  • ACAM shares
  • ACB Jan 2023 LEAP 10C + running monthly diagonals at 14/15 to collect free premium
  • ADBE Jan 15 490C + Diagonal Jan 08 510C
  • AMC sold Jan 2.5P. This is an accumulation play for me
  • AMZN Jan 15 3200/3400
  • AMD Jan 15 90/100/110 butterfly
  • AQMS shares - sold half today, running 5C to offset the rest
  • BIGC with OA
  • CGC shares
  • COTY - patiently waiting. Shares and 8C
  • CRDF - shares + Jan 20C offset
  • FCEL - shares + Jan 10C offset (oops)
  • FSR shares + Jan 20C offset
  • FUBO shares - will BTFD
  • FUTU shares
  • GLD Sept 175C + monthly diagonals to collect premium
  • HZNP shares + Jan 75C offset
  • INAQ shares + Jan 17.5C offset
  • IPOC - shares with Jan 15C offset (oops)
  • JMIA shares + Jan 55C offset
  • MARA shares + partial Jan 6C (oops)
  • MBIO shares + 5C offset
  • NVTA Jan monthly 50/45 put credit spread
  • OCUL shares + Jan 25C offset
  • SABR shares
  • SFT shares + Jan 10C offset
  • SLDB shares + Jan 7.5C offset
  • SOLO shares + Jan 8C offset
  • TCON shares + Jan 10C offset
  • TLRY shares
  • VLDR shares
  • WATT shares + Jan 2C offset
  • WWR shares + Jan 7.5C offset + Jan/Feb/March sold puts
  • XL shares

Which of these positions do you think has the most upside? I need to divert some money out of my etrade account and back over to my real estate operations account so I gotta start being pretty picky with things now. I think I can take on 1-2 more new positions probably at the most through the first 2 weeks of Jan.

GLD, SABR, and JMIA in my opinion but you could see surprises from the others.

I have a SPAC question for you experts:

IPOC is a SPAC with a current market cap of $1.77 billion and trading at $17/share. It's acquiring Clover Health in early January and if the vote passes, Clover's market cap is reported at $4 billion (2.26x that of IPOC). By that math, we should assume a future pps of $38 for IPOC (2.26 x $17). Is my math and logic flawed? Thanks.
definitely not flawed logic. A lot of what I'm reading is many are targeting 30+. I'll probably go net free in the low 20's and ride the rest into the sunset (play cc's on them for eternity).

Will IPOC (or the new ticker) own 100% of Clover though? I know with IPOB when it merges with Opendoor, the majority of the ownership still lies outside of the shares issued. That would be my only concern here.

I'm in at $11.90 on IPOC and trying to figure out how to play this one myself. I'm new to this thread and hear net free constantly but haven't quite seen the OA definition. Is that once you get to 100% gains, you sell off your shares to break even and leave the rest to collect? Or is there more to it?

Speaking of pullbacks not sure how many of you have ALPP but I cannot imagine a world where this does not seriously correct this week or next. Possibly even tomorrow. I don't care if it's a "cult stock " or whatever I think it's crazy overextended rn and it cannot keep up these kindsa runs.

IPOC question....I currently do not have any...it isn't too late to jump in the boat at around $17 per share is it?

Yep you've got the concept. Buy 2 shares for a $1 each and when they are $2 a share sell one and get your capital back and have one net free. Rinse and repeat. Of course you can ck net free on shares for a fraction of your original position but selling 50% of your shares or less to regain capital back is ideal.

Question for you experts out there. What are your thoughts on the MZZ and DXD ETFs? They are at historic lows right now and this market feels completely overbought based on the fundamentals. One could make a boatload if they bought some serious positions at this point.

DXD is at 12.64
MZZ is at 6.57

Not sure I would trust a trader who strings some wins together and boasts about it by running to the Mclaren dealership. Seems fake or shortsighted for a trader who could just as easily hit a string of losers. But that is me speaking from amateur experience and not as a professional trader.

I apologize if this has already been asked recently and I do my very best to keep up with this thread and Twitter, but I haven't seen any recent updates on the seminar? I know OA wanted a tax write off so I was assuming it would be soon. If anyone knows anything more I'd greatly appreciate some insight!

I've been having a lot of discussions with various staff and family on goals and direction. After much thought and prayer I will be selling one of my businesses and focusing more on trading.

My goal will be to position resources throughout 2021 to initiate a closed-end hedge fund sometime in 2022. I will also use a seminar approach to continue to demonstrate and educate short and long term wealth strategies.

I do not foresee or plan any changes in postings to this forum. It will enhance the overall direction being taken. The seminar is in its final build stage. It will be in January now, as I want clarity on a number of fronts prior to discussing one of the meaningful agenda topics, of a 6 months outlook.

Appreciate everyone's patience as I work to make both that event and big decisions for the future.

I would never buy these ETF's. They'll eventually go through reverse splits. Last two were in 2012 and 2018 1:4.

I would think of these as hedges versus trades, although if you do want to take higher risk as a trade then do so with options. After big corrections I almost always buy Puts on these ETF's out 6-8 months just below Model T. Why? Because unless the markets fail they always rise sending these bear ETF's into a long term downtrend.

Conversely, as a hedge, I'd buy something today like a Feb $13-14 DXD. That could also be a stand alone trade but I'd go $12 on it. Options over shares on any of these kind of shares.

I wouldn't chase it, I'd eye a different one. GHIV is going to be a good one I think (merger vote Jan 20th), and THBR (I'm looking into, I know some that love it).

and yes my goal on all these is net free and sell CC's on remaining shares.

Can't thank everyone here enough for preaching/ teaching covered calls. It works brilliantly!
