I got out over the last few days. Decided I would rather be down a little than down a lot and there were other places I felt I could do more with the money.

triple check your cost-basis on the auto uploads... fidelity somehow passed through incorrect cost-basis this past year and it had my chest wanting a covid test until I found the mistake.

If it was just with capital that was already sidelined, might as well keep them. If you were just looking for a quick pop / want the capital for something else then I'd buy back

I ended up exiting the trade getting stopped out. I would roll them if your still in it. Maybe look at March or even value LEAPS. I'm not at a PC but can look at possible options early AM.

QD has an investor event on the 30th. Also feels like it will pay off bigly on a random day.

Someone better than me at DD.... VLDR went nuts on the apple car news, but is MVIS actually another goto here? Mvis has gone from .15 to $6.70 in less than a year.

$F - Yeah I got stopped as well. I set my stop at 50% of basis cost on this one and was stopped out on the 14th. While I hate losing on a trade I am also thankful for stops. This was one of the harder things for me to learn early on, not allowing emotions to take over and allow the technicals or discipline to rule my stops.

FWIW I am keeping this on my watch list for reentry as it has paused at the 1 year cup formation. It just fell below the 3 Month ATR (using those now thanks to 30k) for first time in over a month. When it confirms a reversal back over the ATR I will probably reenter. It has had a steady nice run since July and been good to me along the way. Who knows a good candle today may be the day.

Then I got stopped out of my Jan AAPL 135C yesterday morning.

Edit: I need to learn more about securing gains by combining puts and calls. I do covered calls but that's such a small amount of the gain to account for.

I mean, it's just trading money, but after getting assigned puts last week and if i can sell calls today and lose my shares this week i think I'm at 50% in 2 weeks, and I've never lost money taking profits. Also if this is really a 2023 play and the excitement dies down I'd rather not be stuck holding bags

I traded the options for a smaller win and had targeted the $23.12 gap. Stupid stupid stupid! Good news is it shows the minerals/mining sector is rotation rich. WWR is in it.
