Oil tanking because of a virus mutating fears.
I swear if the world freaks out because this mutates like the flu I don't think I can take another year like this. I'm not heavy into political stuff, but even I would say enough is enough and let the world go back to normal and let the virus take its course. We can't live like this forever because of an ever mutating virus, IF that is the case anyways.
We manage the flu, if mutation is a real thing its time to figure out proper management and treatment instead of just hoping it goes away.

Thanks To everyone that responded. Not really interested in using it too much at this point and completely agree with all of you on the risk aspect. There are a lot of great minds on this board so I was more curious if where certain members saw a benefit to using it. I try to stay a min of 20-30% cash so I can jump on something quick as needed. I imagine some do the same and others use margin

This post reminds me of the first round of stimulus where I saw people taking to Facebook to state how they were above the income threshold for the the stimulus in an attempted offhand manner. So I'll be the one to say it...congratulations!
My statement was a) somewhat sarcastic based off the amount that people throw around on trades here and b) a question around what the threshold will be (assume it's the same)?

Oh it's gonna pay out in full. Had a regular Put in place on top that scored. Now there was something I wrote recently on why I trade only options until the first major correction after new highs.
Amazing that MSFT is hanging so tough after weeks of weakness pressing $210. Really shows you how institutions approach support once they've committed to a bottom break out.
Also one to watch to see if it breaks down should this be a multi day selloff. I bought SPY at $259.95 against my $369 Puts for a trade but will sell it if we Model T and buy more Puts just above whatever the lows are at Model T being achieved.

What a perfect trade set up. Have $369 Put and get a flash down v off $358 to catch entry at $360 locking in $9 gain/share. Hit Model T and see resistance so sell for the $4/share and then buy back on the quick drop under $363 to pick up another $1+.
Now to sit and see if we retest, fail or break through Model T with bull regaining conviction. All before 7am

If I were going to buy anything it would have been when I bought SPY. I'm going to sit back and see if this is a quick correction or a multi day selloff. Put/call spreads would be the trade.
