From the wall street folks I follow:Boat Shoes said:Touchless said:Personally concerned about the increase in cases, no. We're testing at least 5x more than we were back in March/April so the cases may be higher than then, but that's due to increased testing. We also know how to treat it better and what groups are most at risk. The death rate is only continuing to fall so it's really not a significant concern for me personally.Boat Shoes said:
Is anyone else concerned about the COVID surge we're seeing around the country and the potential for more lockdowns? I'm thinking about some SPXS Jan calls as a hedge here.
Assuming Biden does end up in office like expected, then I 100% anticipate a forced lockdown again even though the vaccine will be being distributed at that point. Big brother is going to get more involved in how they impact our day to day lives which will inevitably impact the economy and market again.
I hear what you're saying regarding testing but I don't think that will stop the calls from the elected officials for another lockdown. There were definitely some businesses that barely made it through the last go around (and a lot that didn't). I can't imagine what the economy would look like after a true nationwide 4-6 week shutdown as one of Biden's advisors was proposing.

Have a feeling we have a weak close today.
Do you have that mark at $40? Also, I remember from discussions back in March/April, you mentioned "confirmation" that Model T was the new target. What do you use to confirm that the Model T is the new target?oldarmy1 said:Dead cat bounce. Time to start thinking Model T from last consolidation launch pointE said:

Anyone trades options in Fidelity here? Somehow I am no longer able to purchase option that expire today. Is it just me or everyone is having the same restriction?
Wow, I just noticed that. That's some bs. May have to transfer a chunk over to my TOS account.tramaro1 said:jsap said:

I took some cheap lotto NIO $47 Puts early $0.16 and they are now $0.93. I cashed in all but 10%.
Same objective to go net free. You could also sell covered calls on a portion of shares after the pop.ClutchCityAg said:What are we supposed to do when it happens?oldarmy1 said:

OSTK has been a killer for me. My timing has been absolutely awful with it. But I am holding because the fundamentals are there. I believe it is a $120+ stock.FJ43 said:
Feeling a lot better about OSTK as it continues upward on the slow 4 day ascending channel after the abrupt sell of 5 days ago.
