Thinking about switching to cash account... Would like to have the freedom to sell quicker to minimize losses and then jump back in lower, rather than having to ride it all the way down or use one of my 3 day trades.

definitely didn't realize they had that big of a gap.. but yeh.. aapl dividends in the 80s and 90s.
You can always open a 2nd account and move some money into it as a cash account so you don't have those limitations. If I choose cash and buy with settled cash, I can sell the same day and it doesn't count as a day trade.

My apologies to the board for bringing NIO down.
If its any consolation to you guys, finally...I had one time where I was on the right side of one of these things. Just as I posted that, I sold off all my remaining position in it at just over $52 after selling a lot along the way in its run up from $19ish to $50ish. Its now $43ish.

I bought 10k shares when it was around $2.50 and promptly sold when it hit $3.50 even though OA said this this was going to rocket. So if anyone feels like a dumbass right now, its big G. If it pops between now and/or right at the conference the risk was worth the reward IMO. Whether I sell them or exercise them depending. If not I am not worried about the loss on what I bought.

Remember too, that once a state certifies it's votes and puts in their electorals, that is certifying there was no fraud. If evidence of fraud, the DOJ can then step in!
