I'm holding some calls right now for JD. I'm holding the 3/19/21 expiration / $80 strike calls now. It's the only call I haven't been unbelievably burned on. Now just trying to figure out when to sell it. I'm long the underlying but my call is now showing me with a 48 percent return. Any thoughts?

If you have an $80 call, not a $180 or $280, you are essentially just moving with the stock at this point. You are so deep ITM that there isn't really premium.

I looked at the stock on a weekly basis and it's coming down for a 5 EMA retest. It is possible that the stock is temporarily losing momentum and it is also possible that it is consolidating for a move higher. The weekly 21 period mean is $271 and the daily is $297.

I can't tell you what to do, but I will tell you what I would do - take the gain at an appropriate point. I like Baba for a 1-2 week swing from the mean to ~310. That doesn't mean my strategy will work out. The weekly chart is showing reversion towards the mean

Based on you mentioning MOMO the other day, I went for a 1/21/22 $18C for MOMO. It was $2.5 each. In the event Biden wins like expected, and especially if the Dems take the Senate as well, I think this could be a good opportunity. What are your thoughts on this approach vs buying shares outright like I think you said you did?
