CHWY Call followers should have been selling at the open spike near the call price. However, I bought back all sells and think it goes $72-73 next week so raise target

Need to be more diligent with stops...getting absolutely crush since Wednesday
I haven't figured out how to set stops with options, prices just pop off all over the place. I was setting them at break even once I got a positive move and then I was getting stopped out on slight pullbacks before they moved higher. I've also set stop losses at 50% that ended up making a lot of money (DIS/INMD).maroon19 said:

No. You are either long or short straddles. Your example is a short straddle which gives you unlimited risk. Unless you plan to gamma scalp this position and try to remain delta neutral, I recommend you not do this trade. If you really want the position for scalping, make sure the convexity is in your favor. And probably study-up on the Greeks first.
Yeah I see how any big move ends up costly. I would never do a big trade this far out with it, but now that I think about it, the more volatility, the more risk. There's better ways to capture premium without risk.AgsnFly said:khaos288 said:
