Did something really dumb.

I've learned not to do this but did it this time with MGNI. I chased it at $9.35 (added more to an already significant position). Got caught up in the excitement.

One lesson I've learned from Ripster is to not buy (either common or options) until the 10m close is at the 8ema. If it's extended up it's not worth chasing.

It will be fine but you can always sell a Nov $10 covered call for $0.65 or $0.70 if you feel overextended. $10.70 off your $9.35 or $8.60 net entry (which happens to be the low today) keeps your mind right.

But you should hold off with the curved bottom and you still have that bullet just in case

Ya, no I have gotten really disciplined with this stuff but for some reason lost that sense of discipline here. Oh well.

RKT fell through $23 support. 200 day MA seems to be at 22.70, is that the next logical hold?

I stopped out, so I'm currently waiting for this to pick a trend before I get back in.

9ema is still above 21ema at 22.45. If we get below that mark or when those two switch I'll consider jumping out. Otherwise diamond hands for me while market does the Munchin-Pelosi twostep.

I"m showing the 9ema (yellow) below the 21ema (pink). Also shown is 23 support (red line) and 200 day moving average in orange. Am I charting wrong?



edit: to add this is a 10m chart, on a 15 minute we haven't touched the 200 day moving average yet.
