I'm dumbfounded by the Elliot wave scholars (Warlus, Trigger, etc) aligned on Twitter about a slight NQ pullback in near term and big wave up into end of October. Warlus has AAPL target of $360 by end of Oct!!!

How much weight do you guys put on Elliot theory in these unpr times?

For next week, I am only in four active options positions (aside from long term covered calls / sold puts):

There is some subjectivity in Elliot wave theory as to where a primary segment ends or if it is just minor fluctuations within a continuing segment. Depending on how you slice it we could have just finished segment 1, 3, or 5 within an upward trend. My understanding is you can use these different cases to construct a range of price targets. Walrus has consistently posted the top end of that range - and he's been consistently right but the market has been insane since May.

If the recent pullback on AAPL is segment 1 on a down trend then we potentially still have the large segment 3 drop and the segment 5 drop which should approximate this first segment. That's probably the very low end of the range.

Also note that while the Walrus can't spell, he is infinitely more experience at Elliot waves than I am.

Me too. TSLA ended at 416, so I only missed out on like a 35x profit of $7,000.

I got in at 435 maybe a month made a killing then lost 1/2 my profits on paper. I am hoping it hits 600 within 60 days. That would mean a 20% gain in 2 months from today's close. As of now I'm staying in. I broke my rule of not having more than 5% in one stock as I probably have 30% of my portfolio in Nvidia. I am fastening my seatbelt and praying.
