LOSS: Net loss widened to $11.5 million, or 3 cents a share, from $6.7 million, or 2 cents a share, a year earlier. On an adjusted basis, Square reported a profit of 18 cents a share, down from 21 cents a share a year earlier.

REVENUE: Net revenue rose to $1.92 billion from $1.17 billion a year earlier.

PAYMENT VOLUME: Gross payment volume fell 15% to $22.8 billion, a smaller drop than analysts had projected, according to FactSet.

OUTLOOK: Square had withdrawn financial projections for the year, citing the business impact of the coronavirus pandemi

That's why Tge first thing I look for on a small cap is if it trades options. Options spike hard when stock is rising. I got some $5 strike $1.75 premium covered calls on MARA yesterday and $1.45 today. Just the thought of these options being 50% plus the value of the underlying stock is crazy stupid.

Looks like the buyout price per share is $158.98. Will be interested to see what my 8/7 150 calls look like. It would make sense that they will max out at some value and not move since the stock price should be stationary in theory. Is this what happens??

It will trade at a discount to the announced price due to the risks, but merger arbitrage spreads have been narrowing over the past 20 years. Non hostile takeovers have a consummation rates approaching 85%.
