ROKU breaking out prior to earnings has to be good news
I sold my SPY $326 calls for Friday for just over 3x what I bought them for last week. So SPX is definitely going to 3400 to punish me for my lack of faith.McInnis 03 said:

On Apple, any of you think this is a reasonable way to look at it?
Before the split happens it'll continue to climb in anticipation of the split. Then once the split happens, and shares become more affordable it'll see another run up based on the new buyers coming in and picking it up? So potential for a double rocket of sorts there? Or am I missing something?
You would have had to been quick, it ran hard early todayOrlando Ayala Cant Read said:damnit....it was on my buy list this morning but between F5ing MARA and ONTX and buying more APPL , MSFT, and Amazon I forgotgougler08 said:

That stuff is my jam. Buy 8-10 6 packs at a time. The Total Wine in Plano finally got the message and gave them their own end cap. 50+ 6 packs every time I am in there.

It wasn't "media hysteria" that spent trillions of dollars to keep the economy propped up artificially.ehrmantraut said:
The overwhelming sentiment on this thread about the market "not making sense" is a overblown, IMO.
The fundamentals coming into the year, and all then all the way through March, were really good. We shut down about 75% of the economy and lost a ton of jobs, some temporarily, over the next 3 months. Business is back open now and will continue to slowly get back to full capacity by the end of the year.
All of this has happened in a span of 5 months. It's easy to get caught up in the media hysteria, but COVID is simply a blip on the radar as far as the market and the economy is concerned.
The market is forward-looking, and while some business may change because of COVID, I still see it as a temporary disruption in an otherwise fundamentally sound economy.

3.6 and counting yet we all knew it was happening so bullish prevails. Both sentiments are correct. There will be a reckoning for this down the road, just not short term.deadbq03 said:It wasn't "media hysteria" that spent trillions of dollars to keep the economy propped up artificially.ehrmantraut said:
