Does anyone on here run the "wheel" strategy? That's what I started with last year when I first got in the options game. It's been my most consistent money maker, I'm thinking of going back to that exclusively. Been struggling with short term options lately.

I did the $40 2022 calls and sold them way too early, profit is profit they say.
I always seem to sell everything or hold everything at the wrong time, I really need to work on exits. It will run 100% so I sell, then it's up 300% in minutes, or it drops 75% and I get out to not go bankrupt and then it runs to 500% on late Thursday news.

Unless you have a large position or really want to hang on to a stock, dump it before the split. I was hanging on to a few hundred net free shares from smaller companies one of them reverse split.
I'll be dumping them all and only holding anything I really want from now on, if I miss out, so be it.
Good service there; wonder it they will adjust your cost basis or apply a separate misc gain.

I was thinking the same way yesterday. OA1 told me to take the money, so I did that instead.
I figure it can't go up forever, so rolling up endlessly is going to have diminishing returns. I made 2x on my cash layout, so I'll just be happy about the gain and try not to think about what could have been. If you want to hold BJ stock as a long position, maybe that's different story. For me, it doesn't fit what I look for for a buy and hold.

So is that Darvis Box then, from April 13? Bouncing from ~15.5 to ~11.2? If so, and assuming I understood the mechanics of BJ...we would load as it approaches 11ish, look for it to break above 16, then retreat back to 15.5ish before steady upward movement. Is that correct?
