I'm not taking that one. I will suggest that y'all be very weary about being in indices calls if that hits because that will be a huge market mover

That kind of down move would drag the SPY bigtime. I think SPY is 5.5% MSFT right now.IrishTxAggie said:

How many here were trading summer of 2016? That was the worst market in the history of forever.
Curious how that turns out to be a huge market mover. If it's in the money already, it doesn't have to move all that much I feel like. I guess with the $7 premium it would have to drop to $165, but even that is only a 4% dip. I'm sure I'm missing something here being a noob, but not sure what it is.IrishTxAggie said:

It's broken out above resistance. Good as time as any to take risk onOverSeas AG said:So when you see something like that? What do you do?oldarmy1 said:https://seekingalpha.com/article/4339327-3-reasons-why-crowdstrike-will-probably-thrive-in-coronavirus-timesleoj said:
Do you get in on the same trade? Something around it? Keep an eye on it?
I see some pretty big interest at 100 and 105. Is a volume of 755 High? Medium? Low?
And how do you typically define your profit targets? A percentage based on the size of the stock? A percentage you seek on every trade?
Now that I understand the mechanics of options better, trying to understand how to enter and where to exit better.
(Not afraid to do research, so not asking you to tell me what to do, just asking more about the 'hows' and 'whats' behind what you do.)
Appreciate it.

Nothing but love for you bro.
Overall market sentiment. When you have one of the largest companies in the country have a large enough ER miss or bad guidance to drag their stock down ~4%, it is felt across everywhere. It will create a panicTouchless said:Curious how that turns out to be a huge market mover. If it's in the money already, it doesn't have to move all that much I feel like. Practicing my chart reading. Sold some casinos in Shreveport today. Wedge formed since pre-market. Range was $15.60 to $16.85 and consolidated before springing upward at $16.50 area. Guessing a move of at least $1.25 upward. Sitting at $17.65 right now.gougler08 said:
What are we thinking on ERI, pull some off the table on this run up today or hold it for earnings next week?
Yeah seems like it has some room to run now until ~$20...I took 10% of my shares off the table at 17.65 to lock in a 15%+ gain in a couple days. Will let the rest ride on earnings next week based off LVS being positiveCarlo4 said:Practicing my chart reading. Sold some casinos in Shreveport today. Wedge formed since pre-market. Not sure if I'm learning or learnding like Ralph Wiggum here.
