The problem I have with it is the same issue I have with the two pony tailed guys on CNBC - it's data without context. Is it someone who has some bit of advanced knowledge taking an informed position? Or is it a hedge on a position they've already taken? I'd want to be in on the former, but not the latter, and I can't tell which it is.

Always gonna retest major breakout levels. We soon find out if this time is different than the past 2 years. Hoping for resumption of some intraday volatility, either way.

Exactly. I guarantee you a lot of the calls we've seen were protective hedges to in the money shorts. Thin k of covered calls on nice gainers when they show topping. Works in reverse for people short.

Long time, first time.

ONTX - Thanks for that. I have a small account that I am steadily growing playing in this penny area.

In and out a few times but the long term looks really good here. Already back in it's trading range ~2 weeks after it's offering.

I've jumped in a third time in @ .36 looking at .45+ by next week before their conference.

Another one I'm looking at for a similar setup is DFFN.

Same thing here with offering it took a dive and rebounding from lows. Looking to enter at .42 if it'll pull back down. Target .55 within 2 weeks.

Also thanks for the tip OA. ONTX might actually get back into the dollars if their results are solid.

if you want another penny stock to look into check out WTRH, they keep cranking and apparently should have a new CFO any minute. Believe they are the exclusive food delivery provider for a bunch of high end casinos, and backed or at least largely invested in by Tilman Fertitta.
edit: I was way off on their business model, apparently it's more of a grubhub/uber eats for rural areas. So the dollar general model. I may need to make a real investment in this

other fun penny stock learnings: Free trades at TD doesn't include OTCs (learned this the hard way), it's still like $6/trade, but since WTRH hasn't been delisted (yet?) there's still no commission

I'm a basic sub with HP, aka lolpoor and I've been nothing but amazed. He brainstorms with 2 or 3 wall street buddies quite often on tickers, then he charts and finds the winners. If you want to be spoon fed option plays, it may not be the place, but for the money you can't beat it. FWIW, HP does have an options chat room and there are some solid posts in there.

So TVIX 10:1 reverse split yesterday, and I ended up with a ~$20 margin call on an account I don't have options on and didn't think I had margin for... Something like I got charged for them rounding up a fractional share, or does TVIX have some sort of maintenance charge?

I sold it all to put my cash back positive, then used what was left to average down on PYX
