PDD missed which means all the hype about them being better than JD has been just that. JD beat and continues to execute.

That said, short term PDD drags on the sector, which is helpful to filling the gap on JD. The markets also look like they might finally take a breather. If it does you could see some initial acceleration downward on stocks giving great entries.

Remember you can get perfect gap fills or overruns below them. Right now it's setting up where JD could go the overrun route and hit below $31. But if volume rolls in after gap fill then it likely is between $31 and that gap.

Key is to buy far enough out to let the pullback flush out and capture the rubberband snap back higher. I'd target late December $34 on sinking premiums. Think like a Salmon buying against the stream of bottom sellers.

And hope that the gap fill didn't happen before market opens. Some buying off lows occurring but that could get crushed when markets open.

I'm already in the 12/20 37c for way too much. Should I average those down, pick a lower strike and load up, or both?

Is there a price target for the 34c you mentioned that you'd recommend?

I went ahead and put a limit bid in at .48 for JD Dec 20 '19 $34 Call

My JD strategy is entering in stages. 25% at 50ma, 200 ma...
I sold calls on my shares and was called out at 32.50 for 35% gain just this past Friday. Here's to getting back in. PDD is forever to be stand for PumpDumpDump.

I went with the Jan $34c I like the insurance of more time and take in the Christmas buying season.

yeah, made a ton of sense to me. My Dec weren't filling, so picked up Jan at .92. Thanks for the clarity Prog and OA!

M just lost $15 which has held up as support

Had sold puts earlier in the week hoping to grab it on a dip down to 44...guess I'll just let those expire and take the premium now

of course I sold my $36 11/22 calls yesterday... it kept hitting resistance right before $36 and I sold the next chance I got and then it exploded

I don't know if ZS can actually run enough to close the $60 gap down prior to earnings 1st week in December. That's why I'm targeting $50 because that was last reversal resistance mark on 10/7

I know I should have held on to them... i've gotten burned more often then not holding on to weeklies longer then should have that I'm timid to now.

but I still made a profit on the ZS, can't be upset about that!

Bought ZS Shares. Selling calls on it now. If called out by 12/6, it's 15%. I'll take that.

Only caution I'll give you on that strategy is that while the premiums are high, due to those being options just past earnings, if ZS misses the drop would be at least back to retest $40 area.

JD gonna flash down?

S&P reached Model T intraday from high to flash down low so h pattern would need to form now or we still have us momentum.
