Roku smells like a buy here for me. Current SP @ 127. Bounced off of 127.40 last month, sitting on lower BB, just below the 50day. Thoughts?

There's a big freaking gap to fill if it doesn't find solid support soon

I was waiting for ROKU to pull back. It's rise was pretty insane.

I'm bullish.

It is always funny to see how the stocks moves because of analysts. Nothing about the company or product. Simply but one guy's opinion.

ROKUs price has also seen big movements when the perceived competition does something. But my assessment of the landscape is that ROKU has no competitors that will catch up to them or take away from their sales.

The COMCAST device is dead because people are dropping cable. Apple device and Amazon device aren't as popular or competitive because it is neither companies main focus.

I see ROKU as a market maker. Buyers (households) and sellers (streamers) come together. The Airbnb or Uber of streaming services.

Aside from Apple TV, ROKU does it all. They are essentially a neutral party. That is their advantage.

Yeah I'm in if it fills that gap, but don't have a lot of cash laying around right now and not going to free some up to hop in yet

To complete the JD scenario. If you bought the $31.50 calls for say $0.8 late yesterday then I typically sell equal number fo shares above $31.50 and catch a free wait and see Friday. If we blow and go you simply call out the shares. If we drop then you get to rebuy the shares sold and make it all over again.

OK sold my JD shares bought back again at $31.65. So now I have the $31.50 calls at 8 cents doing my work.

Hold that thought until end of the day or even Monday. The market makers want this back at 100. Support is at 117. It's not far from that now. Unfortunately, what the street want, it gets.

I'm throwing a stop loss on when it closes the gap at $12.25

I've got 3 weeks to let this mess clear out and ROKU gets back down to business. It's gonna be a nail biter till 10/11

So y'all have an idea of what the market is doing with ROKU om options. All positions have been puts today. Not a single call on the large volume

So this thread has taught me many things...but the most valuable may be that gaps generally close (and I'm not sure I understand why)

ROKU is a broken stock now for a week or 2.

Casino/Gambling options have been very active the last week or so. Likely contribute it to football season. Personally, I'm a fan of WYNN. But someone dropped $4MM on LVS 1/20 $60s recently.

I went in on LVS awhile back because it got beat down on concerns of decreased Macau gambling, which turned out to be wrong. It's got a nice dividend of almost 6%.

I had been looking at WYNN as well just a couple of days ago. It looks to be oversold, so I'm waiting for it to turn around.

So do yall think ROKU is worth riding out, or just cut losses. It's REALLY testing it's support.
