RGLD is a great gold stock as it is a royalty stock. Multiple times I have traded it and hit it big. Look into them.
All the gold stocks I accumulated through the bottoming are paying off well.

It's a small cap. All bets are off on whoever the large buyers are pushing it. They took it to $1.40 last time. The fact that its making a push back up so soon tells us there is meat on the bone here.

In MU dips below $34.20 I buy shares and then sale $34 covered calls at$1.50+ with some otherwise sidelined cash.

Net $32.70 should markets have a more serious pullback or $1400/k profit next Friday OR if anywhere under $34 next Friday can decide to sell another covered call or hold shares

Yes but it popped above the left shoulder so intraday bounces can be short lived off those technical. Now if it breaks $57.10 then look out!

Lately, I've been getting killed on premiums with certain options. I.e. I bought SPX calls, goes up multiple pts but bid price only went up a few cents. Does anyone know the best way to find options or identify options where you are not hanicapped by premium?

Looking at an options delta will tell you how much it will change relative to the underlying asset.

Lots of factors here, but my first thought is that you may have bought options that were way OTM? Like the other poster said, you'd look at delta to get a good idea of what would happen if the stock moves up or down a dollar.
