That was the easiest red/green chart I've ever seen on AMD after hours. Was able to buy at $27.25 for over a minute with an easy stop/loss day trade at $27.15 and sell at $27.50 into volume. Life is good

As long as guidance is good. That's the risk on options into earnings. Premium is inflated and the move has to sustain. Many times I would short a stock like AMD up here as it presses above $29.50 to lock in the $1 offset to your call and then either trade it several times on the yo-yo (like right now coming down to $29.25) or wait for guidance and handle accordingly.leoj said:

Seems like it has come down some after guidance...
Not a huge pop but not a negative story by any means. So the macro markets will carry the shares upward.
I'd hold onto those $28 or $28.50 calls to at least $30.
Any weakness whatsoever I'd be a major options player on AMD.
