Lose orders to who .... AIrBus. They have backorders of 6-7 years. This problem will get solved. If you notice the problems have occurred in 3rd world countries and lax training for pilots by small airlines. BA has responsibility because they sold these planes based on minimum training requirements. Never should have it where pilots cannot easily manually take over the controls of the plane. I would not fly Lion Air before they purchased these new 737's. I lived and worked in Indonesia for many years and I saw how they operated.

It was said today by a member of Congress that one pilot of one of the crashed Boeing Max 8's had only 200 hours of flying experience. Hell, I probably got 200 hours of experience just holding the wheel for my dad and our professional pilot on our Beechcraft Barron. 200 hours seems like nothing for a commercial airlines pilot.

I'm not saying that's why the place crashed, I'm just saying 200 hours of piloting experience seems ridiculously low for a guy flying 157 passengers.

Regs in 3rd world countries are very very lax. I won't fly the budget carriers when I'm in Asia or LATAM.

Let alone an asset worth however much that plane cost.

It hit $6.27. I like buying closer to the end of the day and I think the markets might rollover and head lower.
