I wanted to say that I like to watch stocks that get upgraded at their highs and then they fall and vice-versa. You can look at a number of downgrades of stocks near their lows when the market crater. This is just based off of my observations, so with the upgrade of ROKU, I'm cautious. Take that for what you will.

I'm right in that NIO sweet spot where all my options expire worthless, and I just pocket premiums. I do regret selling my 9P for so cheap...

Ranger, what's your opinion of CRON for a trade?

Think CRON is okay. Not super but okay. Has been bull flagging and broke out yesterday and while today's action looked brutal, it actually backtested that breakout area and held. Two things I don't like -- poor volume breakout yesterday and made new highs today but couldn't hold them.




It would be a RORO trade for me -- right in or right out. Its gotta go big and green tomorrow or I'm out of the trade. My worry is it might be a false breakout on the weekly chart. If it doesn't hold the breakout in the next two days, I would cut it lose. Weekly looks extended to my eye. I personally wouldn't take the trade as I'm a bit defensive now anyway with overall market conditions this week.

I'd buy the **** out of it if it retests 15s tho

Doesn't matter... Happens everytime when a publicly traded company misses earnings or has a bad outlook. Only people that care are the lawyers filing the lawsuit.

Agreed, only lawyers make any money in a class action lawsuit. The end of the lockup period poses more downside pressure than any lawsuit. IMO.

Is Target the only one that has access to that data in their systems? Walmart, Best Buy or Game Stops?

Do you know how the Target #s look YoY? Or what % of their sales are to Target? It looks like their FY17 revenue was ~$3M per week, so I'm trying to put your Target #s in proper perspective.

Also, is your targeted price per share based on a multiple of sales, or are you factoring in their bottom line earnings, ebitda, etc? I haven't traded much on fundamental analysis, so just curious.

I just bought more. But interested to hear OA's take.

You could sell the naked Put $8 strikes on NIO for $1.10 and buy the $6 Put for under a dime here at attempted support. OR wait to see flash down $7.25. I would still buy the cheap $6 Put as a backstop to a continued market correction.

Flashed to $7.33 on 500k volume. Close and that might have been it but if it doesn't rebound after that I would move buy target to a $7 flash entry under that.

Of course this is all trader talk - if you're thinking long-term then the mid $7's are certainly better than the over $10 recent price. But I WANT THE BACKSTOP of a cheap Put in case A) The markets don't find support today on the 3 day pullback like the previous two trend pullbacks OR B) The market makers sense/see some panic setting in and shorts drive the shares deeper to a full retest of major support $6.

I entered all my $7 Puts out to April 15th when the stock was pressing that $10.50 and I sold half. I am now looking for entry as close or below $7 as possible, so will start accumulating shares at $7.25 and under. But a $6 backstop is better than none IMO.

You have $1.80 on the April 18th $8 Puts for naked buyers. That or $1.15 on the $7, which takes net under $6 if placed.

ROKU Daily Chart - The trend is your friend. And it has persevered even during the markets dropping. Markets find a support level to rebound and ROKU will lead the way. Only risk on the option trade right now is if this isn't an expected pullback. For now everyone should be buying this dip right here on your favorite shares that are down.

Market analytics are horseshoe and hand grenades. $7.28 is close enough for my initial repurchases of the $10.50 solds.

And I tried to post as close to as my orders were executing but the volume from those caught others to join. Could make for an artificial bounce if no follow through.
